Surgery

I am getting surgery on Tuesday the 5th of June. That is only two days away. My mom is coming tommorow morning. She is going to take me to get my blood work done tommorrow at the hospital I will get the surgery at. It is about 70 miles away. Then we come back tommorow and the next day I get the surgeries at that hospital. I will be in the hospital for two to five days if there are no complications. I am nervous but I think I am ok. I am more worried about my five year old daughter than anything else. She is going to stay at a friend of mines house while my husband works. My husband is going to be there the day of the surgery but we really need for him to work so he will work after that. My mom will stay at the hospital with me. Then come home with me me for a few days. I have two different doctors doing these surgeries. It is actually five surgeries being done the same day. I hope everything goes well. We are praying that there are no complications. I will post again when I am feeling better.

How do I get people to read this?

Ok so nobody has read this but me? I guess it doesn't matter. My goodness even one reader would be nice. So I spent the night in the hospital last night. Nothing big just another night with wires all over my head. And I have to go back in a couple of weeks and stay for three nights. My mother is going to stay with me as a family member has to stay to for this test. I have an appointment on Wednesday with another of my doctors and am hoping he oks my surgery. He and another doctor will be doing two surgeries at the same time. You think that sounds like a lot of doctors huh? Well I see a bunch of them. Let's see? I see a urologist, a nephrologist, a cardiologist, A neurologist, a gynecologist, and a gastrologist and my regular physician. All regularly. I don't mean once or twice a year but monthly or twice monthly. It's a job just seeing the doctors. And get this I have to tell each of them what the other is doing! They never read anything sent to them. They have no idea what the other doctor is doing until I tell them. I depend on my really great pharmicist to let me know if there is a problem with new meds being taken with my others. He always checks carefully for me. Have had to have changesin meds after he found problems. So anyway thats enough of my ranting its time to get to Bible study. I will write again later.

About my family

I am awake but everyone else in the house are asleep. Beautiful morning outside. I heard the birds as soon as I woke. Sadly my bunnies died yesturday. I am not exactly sure why. I don't know if momma did something wrong or I did or if it was just going to happen no matter what.
The other doe is also pregnant so we will have new babies again soon. Much looked forward to by my five year old who cried yesturday about the dead bunnies. I have to tell all of you (assuming anyone ever reads this blog) I love animals as do all of us in this house. We had two cats but Midnight has been missing since before Christmas. We looked for him everywhere. We hope that he is inside someones home being well cared for. We have Cornflake (named by my five year old). He is not completly full grown. He was a feral kitten I found at the nursing home where I worked until recently. He is now the most loving cat I have ever seen. Then we have a dog that is thirteen years old named Wiley. He stays to himself more than he ever used too. I figure that is because he is so old. We have a female about three years old. Her name is Gabby. She was named Gabby before we got her as a present for son number three for his birthday one year. She was six months old. believe it or not we could'nt find any little puppies. So God must have wanted us to have her. Any way we didn't do what we should have and she had nine puppies this last summer. We blessed many we know with those puppies. We kept two. One my daughter fell in love with, Princess. One my husband fell in love with, Snoopy. Ok so we learned our lesson right? No. We just made sure she didn't get out without us. And alas, Christmas Eve she ran out the door while chaos was gioing on. And not long after she had guess how many? Nine puppies! Sadly three died or were dead when they were born. Unlike last time when she had nine pups that looked just like her (Yellow lab mix) Only one looked like her and it was one of the three dead pups. So we had six cute little black pups (don't know who daddy is). We have just given one away ( well we exhausted most potentials by giving them a pup last time). So I guess we are going to put an ad in the paper. I hope we have learned our lesson. We still have not taken her to the vet to fix this. So much is going on it right now, it might be a while. So back to the animals. We have two female rabbits and one male rabbit. We are thinking of expansion though. My daughter has been intructed to think of these rabbits as pets but not to get friendly with the bunnies. They are going to be food. As an avid animal lover she has not quite got this yet. So that brings us to the last. We have two hermit crabs (my second sons pets) Hermie and Bill. Funny huh? Anyway contrary to what many of you are thinking right now, no there is not complete chaos in the house, no stinky smells, no discusting animal planet rescues. These are well cared for, well loved amimals that are a part of our family.
We live in a four bedroom house with four children and the two of us. Two bedrooms up two bedrooms down. One bathroom. Since there are mostly males in the house I think it (the one bathroom) works out for us better than others. We do live in a town. But we have two lots. We are going to do some changes in our yard this year. Well I hope we get to it this year. We bought this house pretty cheap two years ago. I guess you could call it a fixer upper, but its not terrible just some cosmetic stuff needs done. No wiring or plumbing nothing real expensive. We love it! Before this we always rented. We pay less now on the payment than we ever payed for rent. I wish we would have learned that long ago. The house could have been about paid for by now i8f we had. We try not to use credit for to many items. We tried to stick to that but I totaled our car not to long ago and it only had liability insurance. Uh oh right? No replacment of car. So now we decided (not knowing I would soon not be working) to buy a car from the local car dealer. Yep, we are scratching to pay for it. We like the car just didn't know we were gonna be scrimping to pay for it. So that is probably all I have time for right now. If anyone ever reads this I hope you enjoy and comment. I want to talk with people. That is the main reason for starting this blog.

Starting out my own Blog

I am not sure exactly what direction I will take with this blog. I am going to type what is on my mind each day. Tell my story and see if anyone is interested. If you like what I have to say you can comment. If you do not you can comment as well. I will not have any cursing on my blog but I will give equal opportunity on comments.
I am a mother of four children. I am a christian. I have a husband of twenty years. I am a homemaker again. What I mean by homemaker again is that I had been working outside of the home for sometime and now am only at home . Really this was not by choice. Thats Ok I believe God has been telling me for a while that that is what he wants me to do. Being a wife and mother is a wonderful job and is a wonderful gift.
I have some medical problems forcing me to stay home. But I believe this is a gift that I ignored and God has made quite clear now. I had some terrible memory losses that are coming back fairly clearly now. This has made me want to put my thoughts into a journal so to speak. So aaah, this blog. I have many things on my mind that I want to address. Get comments on. Maybe get some answers from some real people.
Being home so much lately has left me with so much time to think as I was not even allowed to do housework of any kind for a long time. My husband has been a very busy, very loving husband through my illnesses.
I have been getting my memories back.
Anyway,I hope that other christian parents will find and read my blog and respond with comments.
I will post my comments on current events as I find them. If you have any ideas and would like me to post them, let me know.
Thank you and God bless you all
